This painting aim to place the audience in a vulnerable place between two separate worlds. Aroonsakool focuses on the fabric of her life and the pieces that weave it together. Her work features traditional Thai and Laotian silk pieces kept from both her mother and grandmother.
 
The bright colors are contrasted by black fabric pieces. They represent the loss of culture and gaps in familial history that are attributed to the immigration and traumas from a first-generation family.
